Growing up…
You know when you are little you cant wait to grow up, but why when you are older you still wish that you were young? You lose the ignorance of being young and not knowing about the real world, the little things bother you and make you upset, but really they aren’t problems. Why must you be hidden from the real world so much until finally you are on your own? Why do your parents still care so much about what you do, or well like some decisions that you make that are your own. Why when you grow up your parents try so much harder to control you?
Separate ways…
People you meet when you are young are going the same way as you or most the time they are. But all of a sudden you get out of high school and everyone goes their own way, which isn’t a bad thing, but sometimes that splits you apart from them when you want to be close. People always say go your separate ways, but what if you don’t want to leave them, what if you want to stay exactly where you are? You feel like no matter what you do everything is going to change, even if you aren’t ready its will slip out from under you. Life is so confusing sometimes you just cant put the pieces together or you cant find all of them.

College….
So the subject has been coming up a lot. Maybe that is because about half my friends or well my good friends are leaving. Its so weird cause it doesn’t even feel like that much of summer has gone by. I mean some of them leave really early but still, summer has gone by so fast. I’ll be leaving in like a month and that will be weird, but I am still really excited. New people to meet! I love meeting new people! Anyways that is all I have for now.

Whiskey Lullaby
She put him out like the burnin' end of a midnight cigarette
She broke his heart he spent his whole life tryin' to forget
We watched him drink his pain away a little at a time
But he never could get drunk enough to get her off his mind
Until the night
He put that bottle to his head and pulled the trigger
And finally drank away her memory
Life is short but this time it was bigger
Than the strength he had to get up off his knees
We found him with his face down in the pillow
With a note that said I'll love her till I die
And when we buried him beneath the willow
The angels sang a whiskey lullaby

The rumors flew but nobody knew how much she blamed herself
For years and years she tried to hide the whiskey on her breath
She finally drank her pain away a little at a time
But she never could get drunk enough to get him off her mind
Until the night
She put that bottle to her head and pulled the trigger
And finally drank away his memory
Life is short but this time it was bigger
Than the strength she had to get up off her knees
We found her with her face down in the pillow
Clinging to his picture for dear life
We laid her next to him beneath the willow
While the angels sang a whiskey lullaby
